Excellent agricultural management can preserve the food supply, protect the global environment, and help achieve sustainable economic and societal growth. AG/SUM pursues sustainable development goals in harmony with technology, management, and society
Keynotes and Talks by corporate leaders, policymakers, domestic and international experts, researchers, and startup founders from various industries. Spekaers will discuss and propose solutions for issues in agritech, food tech, and biotech.
We will delve deeper into the challenges and solutions presented during the symposiums, and explore practical business models utilizing a variety of styles, including small seminars, panel discussions, and workshops, and also provide networking opportunities.
Booths displayed at the foyer and entrance of Muromachi Mitsui Hall (the main venue) for exhibiting new products and services.
A pitch competition for leading agtech, foodtech, and biotech startups from Japan and all over the world. Innovative startups will gather on the themes such as "farming management system," "farm robots", "remote sensing", "food innovation" and more.
Students from Tokyo University of Agriculture will deliver innovative technologies and ideas to solve SDGs with Agitech and Foodtech in this ideathon.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, Osaka University, and the National Institute of Informatics (NII) will hold a business plan contest based on the image of the use of the 100Gbit High-Speed, Broadband and Secure Academic Information Network (SINET) , which has already been deployed across Japan.
