Biography

日本学校農業クラブ連盟(FFJ)は昭和25(1950)年に、全国の農業を学ぶ高校生の組織として結成され、農業に関する教科・科目の学習や地域連携活動などの体験的な学習をとおして、「科学性」「社会性」「指導性」を高めることを目標として、農業関係高校380校、８万4000人の高校生が活動をしています。農業学習の基本は「プロジェクト学習」です。自ら課題を見出して解決して生きていく実践力や持続可能な社会を担うリーダーを育成しています。農業がますます重要になり、地域を支える人材として注目されている農業高校生の活動を多くの皆さまに知っていただく機会となることを願っています。私は全国農業高等学校長協会の副理事長、日本学校農業クラブ連盟の代表として農業クラブ活動の充実に尽力しております。

Agricultural High Schools as the foundation of the future of agricultural innovation

Description

Agricultural high schools are creating innovations throughout the country that solve regional problems through project learning.
In this session, students will hear the presentation of Kumamoto Agricultural High School's "Research on Feed Production Using Food Waste”. Kumamoto Agricultural High School is the recipient of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award at the Japan School Agriculture Club National Convention this year.
In this session we will discuss how to open the future of agriculture through innovation with companies, universities, and agricultural high schools.
